About the Institute
The Mary Michael Machabee Institute is a traditional Catholic lay apostolate devoted to a single end: that the whole doctrine of the Church be known, loved, and lived — handed on, whole and undimmed, to the faithful of every age.
“Tradidi enim vobis in primis quod et accepi…”
We believe the troubles of the last century trace to a single root: forgotten doctrine. When the Faith is no longer known, it cannot be loved; and when it is not loved, it is not lived. The remedy is not novelty but memory — the patient handing-on of what the Church has always believed.
And so we teach. Through essays and films, through the recovery of the Church’s own language, calendar, and liturgy, we labor to set the whole vision of the Faith before a new generation — not as a relic to be admired behind glass, but as a life to be taken up and lived.
